A leading expert in Indigenous intellectual property, Janke is passionate about empowering the Indigenous community.
Through her eponymous firm, she has worked with artists, musicians, land councils, NGOs and academic institutions, often providing pro-bono advice and representation.
In 2011, Janke, who is also the author of the semi-autobiographical novel Butterfly Song, was named NAIDOC Person of the Year.
